Just thought I'd pass along some info about a local cruise-in that I enjoy going to during the summer.
Every Wednesday evening, from 5:30 til ???? there is a cruise-in at the Sandy Point Supper Club just outside of Orinoco, MN (11 Miles north of Rochester).
Season starts on May 19th and goes thru Sept.
Attendence is always great, and 75-150 vehicles is typical. No classes or awards for vehicles, but they do give away door prizes, %-off drink chits, and dinner is available. Good chance to "bond" with the brotherhood, talk smart, drink some brewskies, smoke a good cigar and check out the women. Nice, mellow crowd...very few ricers.
Come on down if you get a chance.
On another note, the Lightning comes out of hibernation today, and goes in for a hood transplant (Fiberglass Fab) and new side mirrors.
