View Full Version : Monthly SVTOATC Bowling or other winter event??

Thinking of some winter events that would be fun to get the families involved and to keep the lines of communciation open to our members. Considering trying to get a monthly, possibly bi-weekly bowling event.

What do people think? Other possibilities could be:

Indoor mini-golf (Lava Links, Roseville, etc)
Gameworks (Minneapolis, video games, bowling, bar/club, etc)
Tour of the Ford plant (possibly?)
Snowmobile trip (Just for fun)
Sno-tubing (GREAT time!)

What does everyone think?!

All sound good just rotate them every two weeks or so. :)

I think its a great idea. Maybe only once a month though because we'll be meeting the 3rd weekend for our meetings. Possibly the 1st weekend of the month have something fun with the families?

We could shoot the duck to. I remember that at Cheap skate back when inline skates were brand new. My dad had stock in ultrawheels when they first started and made a decent amount of money on it only to lose it later in something else.

We got to do somthing to entertain us seening as how all the cars are sleeping for the winter:( we should have a gettgether more than once a month were we do somthing like that:ford:
once a month is not enuf at lest 4 me any way

A snow ball is like a slow dance for 10 years olds. And on roller skates. you hold hands and stuff.:cool: you get to find a hottie and skate with her/him (for the ladies)

well, it has transformed into the slow dance. still skate around, but the whole idea of the thing.


also I think the Burnsville high school has their sadie hawkins dance coming up. I think in November sometime. Why do you ask?

A few meetings ago, somebody suggested the Silicon Motor Speedway NASCAR simulator at the MoA. I seem to remember that idea getting a lot of approval. Is that still a possibility?

My vote is for bowling. We could find one that is mid way for everyone or move around to different alleys.
