so sshfty1 and I went to the apple orchard today to pick ourselves some apples. What a bargain, not only did I get a good deal on apples, I also got free birth control. All the
snot-nosed little kids with their sticky, grubby little paws running around like crazed beasts was enough for me.:grit: I think I'd like to stick to my 4 wheel and 4 legged kids!

That is alway the best kind of control! Everytime Dan and I are in a restaurant with a screaming child, we can't wait to get out! The four wheel and four legged kind are much better. However, there is a four wheel type in our garage that screams just as loud as those kids sometimes!

I hear ya about the snotty-nosed kids! When I ran the Twin Cities Marathon last year (Oct. '03) I obliged all the snott-nosed kids along the route with high five's. Two days later I was so blasted sick with a sore throat, missed two days work! None of that this year, I just yelled at 'em to get lost! No not really, but no high five's this year!

I think from the apple orchard all the snotty-nosed kids and their parents headed to Fleet Farm. Talk about crowed! Man, I was in and out of there as quick as I could! NOT looking forward to the upcoming shopping season! :drink:

Hell and if you think you can make it past the toddler stage ... I have a few teenagers you could borrow!

I don't think that I could get through the toddler stage, but if I could, YOUR teens seem to be an exception to the norm. They might give me a false sense of hope as to what teens are REALLY like. You have good kids, at least they seem like it. I thinks its all the wonderful parenting!;)

Thanks Shan. I guess it's luck. I honestly have no idea how they turned out to be so wonderful. They are truly my buddies. Have no idea how I will cope when they are ready to move out. That will be a LONG thread in the Powder Puff that may require a girls night out!!! Hey, by the way ... is anybody up for a "Girls Night Out"?
