Racing Results?

I heard that no one had great times yesterday as the air was pretty thick. I also heard that the track not prepped too well. Any comments from the racers? Mark, Shawn, Jon, Kevin, Chris?

Ya you about summed it up there, although it was fun to get out and go beat on the car, we all ran about 3-4 10th's slower than the last times out. I think it may have been a combo of the air and track prep just not being as good as it could have been. hopefully next time will be better.

Saturday was bad...my 11.1 car was running 11.4's so nothing to brag about. I was extremely frustrated trying to get use to my new staging procedures with the trans brake. Made for some lousy reaction times including a 666 - not one I like to see :).

Sunday was better. My best run was a 11.24, unfortunately it was on a 11.34 dial. The car finally decided to hook and that was the end of my racing in the Pro ET class second round. Oh well, another 40 points.

Given the fact that I pulled the engine/tranny, put on a new tranny and reinstalled it and had it running within a week, I guess the weekend was a success in the fact that I was racing.

I'll be back again in 2 weeks on Father's day.
