Hey Gang, Here are the details for the Duluth Cruise.
Plans are open, but inorder to make the cruise during daylight hours, we must depart Grandmas at 8:30AM. Plans are to head North up Highway 61 towards Thunder Bay. We will make many picture stops along the way as well as tour Gooseberry Falls. After Gooseberry we will continue, again stopping for pictures until we reach Thunder Bay. When we arrive in Thunder Bay everybody can check into there rooms and decided if the group wants to go to dinner or call it a night. The Days Inn is actually on the North side of town and there are many resturants within a rocks throw. On Sunday morning the group can decided if they want to cruise back or depart each alone. Days Inn Thunder Bay has rooms blocked off for us, you must call them and put a room in your name and reserve it with a Credit Card. If its not done by 6PM Sept 20th you will risk not having a room. Everybody please post if you plan on going or not so we have a clue as to how many people will be attending. Some people have said they plan on driving to Duluth on Saturday morning I will let somebody else plan that leg of the cruise if you guys want to drive together. PLEASE the only thing I ask is that everybody be ready with cars/bellies filled up by 8:30am. Sunset is before 7pm that time of the year and we don’t need no SVTs meeting up with Moose, Bears or Bambi.
Last Thing: October is a very tricky month, I know most of us don’t wanna drive to Canada if its going to snow and Im not interested in driving to Canada in the Sport Trac or Tempo GT. If the weather starts looking questionable at the beginning of the week, we will watch and monitor. On Thursday if there is more than a 40% chance if iffy weather, the cruise will be cancelled and perhaps the group can come up with a alternate plan.
No Post whoring, I will delete or edit posts going off topic.
