I'm registered and paid for Saturday, will likely race Sunday if $/weather allow for it.
I have Friday and Monday off of work.... waiting to hear about caravan, considering camping at the track.

I'm in! And very excited, can you tell! Registered for Saturday and possibly Sunday, like Dan said. I would like to ride co-pilot with Brian sometime on Sunday, he said I could! Can't hardly wait for that.
Taking Friday and Monday off work but would like to head back on Sunday sometime.
Planning on camping at the track to save some $$.

And I'd definitely like to caravan, I really don't want to go that far by myself, but will do it if I have to.

That'd be kind of cool to do some runs on Friday. We'll teach Pam to drag race!!

Its around 500 miles from the cities, Im guessing between 9-12 hours depending on Chicago traffic.

Well its a good thing I logged on and spoke to DUG, I was on my way to Brians when he told me Brian was at Road America. Saved me a country cruise to Wanamingo so I mailed it.

Even I knew Brian was at Road America! Only because I've been talking to him about checking the car over and getting the form signed off.

Hi all!!
Just got home from Road America. What a great weekend, just like this club, it's the people that make this sport so much fun.
From my house, I plan for 8 hrs to get to gingerman pulling the trailer. I am still up in the air whether I will be bringing the 95R or driving down in the vette. If Pam insists that I give her a really really fast ride, it will force me into bringing the 95, so we will see. ;) (Pam?)
I am planning on leaving Friday am early, but that is subject to change. I know I am out of the way for you all, but if I drive the vette, I wouldn't mind meeting up with you all somewhere down the 94. If I bring the 95, I will be trailering and would be holding you all up from making decent time.
Just realize, we loose an hour once we get to Michigan, so if the track is open at 5pm local, that is 4 to us.
I will be calling the track this week to confirm that they will be open friday evening, so I should have that info for you soon.

Well, it wasn't me for two reasons...
1. I wasn't on the board yesterday after 9:30 a.m.
2. I don't even know how to delete posts!

wow, wish I could have been here to see what went down but i am sure people are gonna fill me in. For those of you that do not talk to Shan and I alot the reason for the original post a while ago about being able to pay at the track was because I was not sure if i could make it or not. Working at the plant has it's advantages and disadvantages, not having or being able to get the time off for the both of us to do something like this is the real problem here right now. I am not willing to take a week off without pay which is what I would get for being gone for those 2 or 3 days in gingerman. Also for those of you that think I am gonna enjoy put parts on trucks while you thrash around a course like gingerman your wrong again, there is nothing i would rather be doing then that so please don't think we are bailing so i can go catch butterflies in my backyard. Sorry that I cannot make it hope you all represent the club well and have a great time. now just BE COOL SSHFTY1
