Okay, so my Cobra finally needs an oil change. Where should I go and what should I put in it? Any suggestions?

I'm going to switch to Mobil1 5w-30 with a Motorcraft filter myself.

I'm with Dan, Mobil1 5w-30 with a Motorcraft filter, made the switch at 6,000 miles.

seems to be the popular way to go but yeah last time I did a chance I went with 5w-30 mobil 1 fully synthetic and motorcraft oil filter. I'm coming up on a change again and I don't plan to use anything different

not to Hijack - but 98 DOHC are you going to the meeting? If so let's hook up at my house and we can cruise up together. Plus I want to hear your car.

what meet are you talking about, I look in events and see a bunch of em, I plan to go for sure to the rock falls meet on the 29th, as far as others I'll consider em, just a matter of if I can be there, as long as I don't work and the timing for other stuff isn't bad I will try to make it, I gotta pay up some dues though, just cause I guess I'm supposed to and I might as well anyway.

I really feel that quaker state high mileage is the best performance motor oil for the buck. But seriously what the hell does it matter what oil you guys run. run what ya brung right dan n. What does the cobra have stock anywho 6 quarts or 5 and isn't it already supposed to be synthetic. By the way dustin is right on the money with amsoil oils they are truey supposed to be the best and they are locally owned not to shabby. be cool grease monkies.
