We would like to welcome you all to attend the Ford Year of the Car Tour, starring the new Mustang GT, coming right here to the Twin Cities!
This tour visits to 40 cities commemorating the 40th anniversary of Mustang and also showcases the new Ford Five Hundred and the Freestyle. They are planning to be in St. Paul on Tuesday, August 24. We will be at Midway Stadium - home of the Minnesota Saints (1771 Energy Park Drive, St. Paul) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The "star" of this tour is the 2005 Mustang GT, which is traveling with the other cars from city to city in a unique trailer that is a showroom on wheels (please see attachment), with glass sides providing a view of the Mustang while the trailer is under way (the other cars are out of view). They remove the cars from the trailer when we reach our destination, and have various displays that highlight the vehicles.
We would be grateful if our club members could come out in force to surround the trailer and help to generate media coverage.
This is an opportunity for club members to see the new 2005 Mustang up close and personal as well as the 2005 Freestyle (cross between and SUV and sedan) and the Five Hundred (sedan). David Cosper, Vice President and CFO of Ford Credit will be on hand to give a few remarks, talk about the cars with the club members and play some Mustang trivia. Dave is a true "car guy" who owns an almost street legal Mustang himself.
We will provide a light dinner and an enjoyable evening.
Reservations aren't needed, but if you could let me know approximately how many people from your club are thinking about attending, I can make sure I have enough food.
