Well Nicki joined her first dance class this week. Here she is all dressed up and waiting to go. Hoping to get some pictures of her with her other classmates next week.

She's excited about it :)

It's a starter class for 3-5 year olds. There are 5 girls in the class. All the age of 4/5.

Just learning basics of dance so far.

My daughter was in dance too. I think it is so good for them. Builds confidence as well as coordination.

She's been twirling and dancing around the house for months. She hasn't been interested in sports at all so far, she is only 4 though. So figured get into a "formal" dance class and see where it takes her.

She certainly has long legs on her

Our 3Yr old is in dance as well. Tomorrow is weekend #3. Larkin Dance Studios in Maplewood.

She is with The Dance Company here in Rockford.

I never did dance classes as a girl but loved dancing. She's already been talking about the next class so I know it was a good choice.

The teacher Jodie is really nice and does great with the girls considering they are so young. She has more patience than I would.
