New Battery

I knew it was coming... I had an inclination earlier this year... The facotry Delco in the GMC was layed to rest today. I can't complain I guess, it was 4 years old.

The last 2 times starting, she gave me some grief.
I actually intended to back into the garage last time just incase she kacked... but I forgot. So then she barely started today. I left it running on a quick errand, then stopped by the corner garage so he could test it out. No good.
That's 2 dead Delco's this year!

I've been lucky for the most part on batteries croaking on me... it usually happens in the summer for me. :)

I have a '95 F-150 that I bought new in April of '96. Put my first battery in it last Fall of '03. Yes, that is about 7 years on that battery. 71K miles on the truck. I'm not bragging at all, probably not the smartest thing to go that long. The battery never failed either, I just figured it was time. :grin:

I have a buddy who's dad actually got 7 years out of a factory Delco battery... kind of a hit or miss thing with factory batteries.
