'93 Cavalier Coupe:

• 2.2L 4-cyl. w/155k
• 5-spd. manual tranny
• New Battery
• Aftermarket wheels (could use a re-balance)
• Tires are easily 70%
• Tinted glass
• Head gasket was done not long before I bought it earlier this year.
• New exhaust (done the RIGHT way).
• K&N filter
• Great heat
• Factory AM/FM cass. to go back in.
• Maroon w/grey int.
• Good tabs

This car is my current work vehicle. It'll knock down 29mpg @ 80mph ($$ saved!). I'm selling because I'm getting a 4-dr for a work car.

The motor runs great, and it's durable! The weak spots on these were the head gaskets, and that's been done. 3rd gear syncros can be fussy on this one sometimes... but it'll be that way long past you even wanting the car anymore (you'll get bored with it).

$500.00 Firm. I've got way more into it, and it's not even worth me selling it for that much to be honest... But I don't have the room to keep it as a backup vehicle, otherwise I would.

Reply, or PM with any questions or comments!

Thanx,

More detailed info on the car, and where I'm at with it.
In all honesty... the thing runs great, it's just SLOW! Always starts, runs like a champ. I hate to say it but, it's probably the best running vehicle I have! :(
I'll tell ya' all what's up with it that I am aware of.

1.) The R-def isn't working right now because it looks like there's a connection missing at the back window (something I forgot to look for the last time I was at the boneyard).
2.) it came with a factory passenger side mirror blockoff plate (apparently the mirror was an option?!) that I took off because I scavenged the mirror off the previous Cavy, however, there is a difference between 2dr & 4 dr mirror trim pieces... so now nothing is in there yet and it's black taped up 'till I located the trim piece that the mirror fits in.
I'm sure I can get one from the stealer, but I looked at a boneyard first.
3.) The wheels are aftermarket, and have stick-on weights inside, but some have come off, so the wheels are out of balance, and you can tell at speed.
4.) The 3rd gear syncros are fussy... but I'm sure it'll be that way long after you ditch the car because of it's boringness.
5.) This completely slipped my mind too, it's a prior water-damged car because the chick that ownded it put the nose in some water. That's when it was cleaned up, dried off, checked out, and headgasket done after that. I was leary about the purchase because of that, but I've noticed NO adverse affects because of it, so good deal!

The rust is average to the Cav's of these years.
It looks as though the front driver's fender had a confrontation with something, and lost (just dented in a bit). The turn signal lens was busted all out when I got it, and I put a new one in since then (which sucked!).

Now; I put the car up for sale because I thought I was able to buy this Corsica (another boring car!), but it seems that's up in the air now... But I plan on pushing the issue today to see if I can get this deal done. I'll post back as soon as that is accomplished.

Thanks!

Yes, but no.

Sorry I didn't get back to you two quicker. Been a busy few days. I found out later Thursday night that the replacement vehicle deal fell thru :(
And this was the quickest I could get back to you two.

So I will be selling it... but after I find my replacement car. I'm on a SHO hunt again probably.
I'll put this back on the market as soon as I find something though.
Sorry 'bout that :(
