Edit: Head is Shot, Guessing gasket is as well. SEll for 800 now as it sits. you tow it.
1995 Ford Contour.
2.0 Zetec/ Automatic Transmission
Approx 145k Miles
Female Driven its entire life.(Well I did drive it to and from class for 3 nights before giving it to the fiance)
Cloth Interior, Non Smoker.
New tires(300 miles on them)
New Headgasket(300 Miles)
New brakes(2000 miles or so)
Shifts Great.
Steering is still solid.
Suspension is great.
Car is clean! Has a couple dings and such but nothing major.
I thought the head was bad after replacing the head gasket and having issues with pressure building in the system(air pockets). I assumed the head was warped, but thought I would give it a go and see if cleaning and re Torqueing the head would help...
Sooooo.... Took it apart this weekend, cleaned it up, re did timing, and re Torqued the Head. Added some stop leak, and the system no longer builds Pokets of air that stop the car from cooling. I took it on a 2 hour traffic tour this weekend and didnt have any problems with it overheating or getting too hot.
Any other questions or if i forgot something let me know. Im not trying to hide anything.
ive got it listed @ 1500 On CL, have 3 people scheduled to come look at it, but im not holding it for any one.
