Does anyone have any experience with the Llumar paint protection film? I picked up some literature on it at Mods and Rods and am considering this rather than the car bra deal. I don't know how much it costs, I thought I'd stop by the shop sometime and talk further. I got the literature at the Sun Control of MN table (window tint) of which I am thinking of doing as well. BTW, thanks Tim for the recommendation.

I would recomend having sun control do your tint, they did mine on the focus and they did a superb job. As far as the paint protection thing, never heard of it.

Thanks Twitch, thats two recommendations for Sun Control of MN for the window tint, awesome! I'm not too far from their Rice St. location so I think I'm going to swing in there this week, get some more info on the tint and the paint protection. I'll post what I find out about the Llumar.

Do not use the 3M product as it has a clear coat piant on it and it has a yellow tint in it. 3M is a good product but the yellow tint can have a problem on vehicle paint.

have a friend that has the 3M stuff on his Screw-ba-ru (WRX) and you don't even know it's there until you are right on top of it! Been through 1 winter and it looks good as new. I think if I had a daily driver car that I cared for like I do the vert I would do it.

I was thinking of this for my Cobra. I love this car and drive it almost every day in the summer. I want to protect the paint as best I can. Not sure if the Llumar is by 3M, I see a website on the pamphlet I have, www.llumar.com so I'll check that out.

Thanks for the input!
