Wanted to let anyone know I saw the first Shelby in the state of Minn today at Apple Valley Ford. Blue with white stripes. Owner paid 62k from Stillwater Ford. Delivered a 5 weeks early. Not a bad car. Looks good in blue.

No PDI on that one, we didn't sell it. He already knows about the club, he also has a very fast and sweet 04 Cobra coupe with a Stalker body kit and blacked out 20's.

Mike told me today the AVF might paint the stripes on that vehicle as the tape stripe was add by Stillwater. It has some wrinkles in them.

A friend of mine from this class i'm taking at the U of M is an intern at Polaris and he claims to have seen an orange with the tungston strip GT500 at his work a couple days ago during a meeting of all the regional managers of Polaris.

Dan-O ... Ford wants to cut jobs, not make them. If they were to assigned someone to do the stripes at the plant, that wouldn't be part of there " moving forward " plan now would it.

Also, I think it has to do with a warrenty issue. If the dealership does'nt put them on right the first time, I would assume they eat the money, instead of Ford eatting it.

First one? We got one in last week. Red with white stripes, It's on the show floor up here.

the 1st vert in MN (supposedly) was at CC this weekend - it was forsale by owner, no price. It was red. saw teh blue coupe on Uni, looked nice

I'm sure it's for sale but I have no idea how much they are marking it up.

BTW- ours came off the truck from Ford with the white stripes in place, It is a factory option. It's up to the dealer to order them that way.

Tape stripe is installed at the factory. However the tape stripes are available from Ford, no kit all ala Carte. $1,5900 list.
The word on the Stillwater Blue is that the vehicle was delivered without stripes. Customer wanted stripes so the sales rep arranged to have them put on supposedly without charging for them!
That is the hearsay.

RU Serious? 1,600 bucks for stickers! Holy moly is that highway robbery, not to mention when I looked at them on the Red Shelby they did not cover the car completely.. WOW!!

Hell for $2000 you can have them painted on. I would go that route if I wanted the stripes.

Not to mention that makes 0 sense, I pd with a Ford discount $189 bucks for Shan's stripes which in my opinion look alot better then the ones on the $50,000 shelby. Something does not seem right there.
