John Kerry

The term "flip-flop" has been constantly used to describe John Kerry. But why? The reason this term is so widely used to describe John Kerry is because Kerry has found himself on both sides of many many issues.
Such as:
He voted FOR the Iraq War
But now says he was AGAINST action in Iraq

He voted FOR the Patriot Act
But now says he is AGAINST the Patriot Act
(Liberal Joe would like me to point out that other congressmen have also flip-flopped on this issue, mostly democrats.)

March 2003 Kerry said he is AGAINST attacking a President during a time of war.
Weeks later he began a series of attacks on the President

Kerry voted FOR "No Child Left Behind"
Now says he is AGAINST "No Child Left Behind"

In 1992 Kerry called Affirmative Action "Divisive"
In 2004 Kerry denies ever having said that.

THERE ARE MANY MANY MORE, PEOPLE...

John Kerry's Votes

So what does this all come down to?
JOHN KERRY WILL SAY ANYTHING TO GAIN POLITICAL FAVOR. HE HAS NO MORALS. HE HAS NO BASE. HE CARES FOR NOTHING BUT HIMSELF AND GAINING POLITICAL POWER!

When a man has the guts to say:
"I actually did vote for the $87 Billion, before I voted against it."
You know he will say ANYTHING to appeal to a crowd.
Is that the kind of president America needs in this world and during this war on terror?

No. God, no.

Kerry voted against funding for Missile Defense systems at least 53 times between 1985 and 2000

Then he claimed to support missle defense: "I support the development of an effective defense agaist ballistic missiles that is deployed with maximum transparency and consulation with U.S. allies and other major powers. If there is a real potential of a rogue nation firing missiles at any city in the United States, responsible leadership requires that we make our best, most thoughtful efforts to defend against that threat. The same is true of accidental launch. If it were to happen, no leader could ever explain not having chosen to defend against the disaster when doing so made sense." Source

Then Mr. Kerry deicided to be against it again:
Major Garrett: "Kerry would not say how much all of this would cost. A top military advisor said the Massachusetts Senator would pay for some of it by stopping all funds to deploy a national ballistic missle defense system, one that Kerry doesn't believe will work."
Kerry Advisor Rand Beers: "He would not go forward at this time because there is not a proof of concept."

Funnies on John Kerry

"The White House begun airing their TV commercials to re-elect the President, and the John Kerry is condemning his use of 9/11 in the ads. He said, it is unconscionable to use the tragic memory of a war in order to get elected, unless of course, it's the Vietnam War."
~Jay Leno

"John Kerry has promised to take this country back from the wealthy. Who better than the guy worth $700 million to take the country back? See, he knows how the wealthy think. He can spy on them at his country club, at his lace in Palm Beach, at his house in the Hamptons. He's like a mole for the working man.
~Jay Leno

"I'm worried about John Kerry, he's so confident now that he's already planning his White House sex scandal."
~David Letterman

"John Kerry will be the Democratic nominee for President. Democrats finally found someone who is Al Glore without the flash and the sizzle."
~Craig Kilborn

"Yesterday Senator John Kerry changed his mind and now supports the ban on gay marriages. I'm telling you this guy has more positions than Paris Hilton."
~David Letterman

"According to a new study, Botox injections can help back pain. So you see, that's why John Kerry had all that Botox - his back was killing him from all that flip-flopping on issues."
~Jay Leno

"The head of the AFL-CIO endorsed John Kerry, saying, 'The time has come to come behind one man, one leader, one candidate.' Then he said, 'And until we find that man, we will have to endorse John Kerry.'"
~Conan O'Brien

"The Democrats are all over this. Democratic strategists feel John Kerry's war record means he can beat Bush. They say when it comes down to it voters will always vote for a wr hero over someone who tried to get out of the war. I'll be sure to mention that to Bob Dole when I see him."
~Jay Leno

"John Kerry said today that he wants to get rid of tax cuts for the rich and his wife said, 'Hey, shut up! What's the matter with you?! Are you nuts?!'"
~Jay Leno

"In his speech last night, John Kerry said this was the beginning of the end of the Bush administration. I agree. Sure, it will probably take another five years, but this is it."
~Jay Leno

"A new poll shows that Senator Kerry's support in the South is strongest amongst blacks. Kerry's appeal to Southern blacks is obvious. He is an ultra-liberal, ultra-wealthy white man who lives far, far away."
~Dennis Miller

LMAO@ DUG.

While Im part of a union(Teamsters) and do think they suck major donkey cock. The Union did help me out last weekend, On Sundays Im oncall. Well last Sunday I called in and was asked to report for work. Well I reported in for work at 3PM and was told, I wasnt needed. I went home pissed off because I wanted to go to Cantabury Downs to play the ponies but work had screwed that up. On Monday I found out I was able to file a grevance, turns out that Im getting paid a full 8 hours because I was told to come in and then told to go home. I truely believe that is only fair, they did screw up my entire day. I call in at noon and was told to be in at 3, at 3 Im told to go home and dont get home until 4.

BTW- I truely think that unless Bush produces Bin Ladens head on a platter, scary Kerry is going to win.

I truly hope you're wrong John, (I used to like that name) I think that honesty, integrity and leadership will always win. At least I'm banking on that. Its not easy being a leader, and its not always the most popular thing, but at least President Bush isn't afraid to lead.
