somethings wrong

OK Dan N,

something is SERIOUSLY wrong with the email notification part of this web site. i checked the gingerman thread lastnight, and logged off. Got up this morning and checked my e-mail, and i have 15 notifications about the gingerman thread. I go there and look, and there is only 1 more post than there was lastnight.

I had 25 last night and 18 this morning, all from the gingerman thread.

I also had 5 from the gingerman thread. Not sure what's up folks, not something I'm doing. Perhaps there is a problem with the sending of mail but I'm sure it'll get sorted out.

Yeah I had a bunch last night as well. It looked like they only got sent once (in one big batch I mean).

No doubt it's from all the smack talk John started;) :grin:

Actually there were around 5 posts made last night by Doug and I, I then moved alot of the trash talking into a new post in the clubhouse and it appears somebody deleted that thread, Dan C ?????

After talking to John about the missing posts in the gingerman thread, and all the emails people got, my guess is something is (or was) whacked in the database.

There was more than 5 posts from john and I that disappeared, looks more like 10+ messages are gone (I think Brian and cobrizo may have lost 1 or 2 in there???).

That was my other guess. I wondered if the DB got corrupted, causing the numerous E-mails from this Gingerman thread to come through...

Yeah thats what I started thinking, and maybe when john moved a bunch to a new thread it somehow got deleted and the problem went away? who knows...
