Audi RS6

Was out in Victoria today at a Cenex and in Wheeled the baddest sounding (and looking) Audi I have ever seen. The back was marked with RS6. Not knowing exactly what that meant, I struck up a conversation with the obviously well off driver. Found out it's a twin Turbo, 473hp from the factory (plus model). From the sound I thought it had to have an aftermarket exhaust, and he said yep and it's chipped. How much is it puttin down? Right at 550!
It was originally Greg LeMond's, but he had to sell it due to tickets. I asked him to give me a ride and he said he would but he was late for a golf tournament. Said if I ever run in to him again, he'd take me out. Car was beautiful! Oh yea, 80K new, but with the mods (full exhaust, rims, tires, chip and carbon fiber everything, pushin 100K. He sold his TT Porsche to buy this one because he couldn't get two sets of clubs in the Porsche!:thup:

Curt, my partner has had one for about 9 mos. - it's chipped and modded - I tell him that no car that costs that much ought to need ANYTHING. He traded a 3 year old M5 BMW for it - he says he's just waiting for the new M5's to come out!!!! (Must be nice)

His is Black Metallic over Black - Problem is - fast as they are - they just don't have any soul. They're really fast, but in that typical AMG and BMW way - no real thrill - just a lot of speed.

BTW - this is the guy with the 408 stroker GT350 he uses as a weekend toy!!!! Now that car has SOULLLLLL!!!

1st Rick what is a TT PORSCHE, sound like that little audi tt to me. 2nd silversnake is the man today, love the quote about got no soul. "PERFECT" lastly even if i had the money there ain't gonna be no tea and crumpits audi in my garage, i don't care how fast it is. I ran with an audi somethingerather 2 weeks ago in the mach and it gave me a run but still looked like a grocery getter. se ya and be cool.

You'll have to check with Rick about the Porsche TT - I know from nothing about Porsches. They along with Mopars are brands that have never held any interest for me.

I know that sounds weird, but what can I say - I just don't care for either one.

yep twin turbo. I think if I had money like this guy had I may buy an Audi RS6 just to go and get the groceries...Real FAST!

RS6's are sweet. I felt bad one time at Porky's because there was a guy with a RS6 in the lot and he said that NOBODY knew what his car was.. :(

Don't you already have a TT posse? Perhaps you can "hire" a TT posse. If you need ideas, I know of a "gentlemen's club" that might be able to help...
