Scrapbooking - Creative Memories Part II

I just can't get enough of this scrapbooking stuff ... so I booked my own party. Alicia and I will be co-hosting the next get together on July 8th. The party will start at 10:00 a.m. and will go until whenever we are tired and don't want to do it anymore! Mark your calendars scrapbooking fans!

Never attended a Creative Memories show (always thought they were expensive) what goes on? Is is just product selling or do you bring your own to work on?

Just to get it out there, there is an entrance fee to these parties. Then from what I have learned from the wife and seen you work on your stuff there using stuff that the CM lady brings and as you use it you total up at the end what you have used and that is what you pay for. You can also order different items and also bring all your own kit stuff.

The way Cynthia works her parties is very simple. I believe the fee is $10. You bring your pictures, scrapbooks,paper, anything you want to bring to work on your stuff. Cynthia brings a lot of tools, stickers and other products that Creative Memories sells. You can use any of the tools free of charge. The stickers and paper you can purchase there or order from the catalog. She has discounted paper too. At the end of the day, you can order any of the tools that you used (and had to have).

Creative Memories stuff is a little more expensive than some other products available in stores, but its good quality and will last a long time. Corner cutters actually cut the corner correctly. (one of our biggest complaints).

Its mainly a chance to get together and work on your scrapbook. Plus, be able to get ideas from others. There is a catalog and a website. www.creativememories.com

Thanks for explaining that Michelle. It is really cool to have the CM lady there, she gives you all kinds of ideas for your scrapbooks. Plus you get ideas and techniques from other people. I like the fact that you get to use their scrapbooking tape throughout the party. Heck, as much as I use, it's worth the $10!!!

It's always fun to get together, have a few snacks and talk too!

Directions to my house: Take Hwy 77 south to Co. 42. Turn Left and go past AV Ford approximately 6 miles to Diamond Path (There is a Sterling Bank on the corner). Turn Right onto Diamond Path.
