It happened today. He was not wearing a helmet. Some guys were coming to pick up a dealer trade from another dealership and the F-150 they were in was broadsided by the man who was on his motorcycle. It is a sad day here. He was breathing really hard, but we were told his neck was broken when it hit the A-Pillar of the F-150. Wearing a helmet probably wouldn't have mattered. It just shows me that I don't have any problems today or any other day, as long as I am alive.

My sympathy to the family of the 20 year old and the driver of the F150. It is very hard to live thru a tradegy like this.
I have some concern with the I494 construction and the frontage road in front of AF. I feel the vehicles are traveling too fast for this road and need to slow down with all the traffic going into and out of the businesses along this road.

the construction on our road has been done for a couple of weeks now. The F-150 driver was driving a truck they just picked up from Freeway Ford on dealer trade.
The rider was from Bloomington and the bike was yellow. A Honda I believe.

How very sad. It makes us realize how very precious life is. It can be taken in an instant. Its human nature, we take everyday for granted. Be thankful for each day. God Bless.

DRIVE a cobra they are much safer. seriously i feel bad for the loss but if you drive a bike you know the deal. Everytime you touch that throttle you know it could be your last. I lost 2 friends right in front of me when I was 18 on cbr 600 f2's brand new. Sorry but for those who ride you know the drill. GOOD LUCK GOD SPEED and be careful. be cool dc

It would seem more often than not, that it always takes someone's death for us to realize what we have.
Consider all the "Patriots" that came out of the woodwork after the 11 sep. incidents.
People seem to forget an aweful lot of the time. Then BAM! they get reminded again... at the cost of yet another life.
Everyday should be treated precious and special... it is in fact a gift. Never forget that "Humans are fragile, handle with care"
*My sugesstion is that they should put "Cowcatchers" on the front of those bikes. :)

So the guy just got this new truck and was pullin' outta the lot with it when this kid smokes 'em?? Dayum. That had to be a sight. There's a reason I have never gotten into bikes... and he's one example why.
