Ok heres the deal as most of you know... we are trying to move the problem is where we are looking is only going to get me a 2 1/2 car garage or a 3 at max and if we get lucky......

so the thing i have been tossing around is selling my 94 lightning.... I tried last fall when I was going ot get a mach 1 , but common sence and the wife got the better of me so I bought the svt focus....

so now back to the debate of wether or not to keep it.... I dorve it for the first time this spring and remembered why i loved it so much...

Ive always hated having an all black truck.... so ive often coinsidered two toning it ....

whats your thought of the paint job and wether or not I shoyuld keep it???

Torn between? Newer Svt something, or freshining up what you have? I know where you can get a Mach1 for about 21,5K.

Have seen some pretty sharp black on red two-tone jobs on Mach 1s.

The black on white on the large side panels of the Gen 1 lightning is a bit much for my own taste. Now black on orange (comp orange or vibrant red)... that'd be nice. Your own version of a harley truck.

I will when I bring over a better torque wrench. That bolt came out by the way.

Chris I say keep the truck at all costs don't really care about what color you paint it! I just know how bad you feel as a person when you get rid of something like that! If there is anyway that you can keep your toys "DO"!!

Keep the truck, 1st gen lightnings are kind of rare. You don't see very many of those around.

Are you going to get another car if you sell your truck. Do you want to spend even more on your truck to two tone it after considering selling it. I think if you plan on long term keeping it then do what you want but if your on and off the hill on selling it dont waste your money painting it because you will never see that money again.

I want to keep it.... but the problem is its a 2 seater....

:( not very practical.... but after driving it and seeing that picture ... i wanna keep it

But I understand you do have other vehicles with more than 2 seats. Practical you sell it and your gonna be all sad and we dont want that no one wants to see the big man cry. That would so crush my mellow

LOL... IT WAS THE FIRST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER TAKEN A LOAN OUT On to own.... :) ALSO THE SVT FOCUS WAS the second minus my wifes saturn of course....

keep that **** man. the foci can sit outside and in the winter you can store your truck for really cheap somewhere so the focus will not get snowed on. Everyone hates scrapping. then you can take the insurance off your truck in the winter too.

ok... heres the issue....

79 fairmont wagon
63 falcon ( cant be stored outside at the moment)
94 f150 lightning
02 svt focus

one up side .... my wife said if we live close enough to work shes willing ot give up her garage space...

yes in my marriage agreement i gave up one of the garage spaces.... i know :( what an idiot....

ohh well im sure it will all work out, we are goign to go look at some prospective garages this saturday that might be next to our new house.... :)
