First off, I don't post much, but I am a constant lurker. I am selling my 2001 Lightning which has only 18,500 miles. It's red with hard tonneau cover and everything else is stock and has never been modified. It was involved in an accident in 2003 (sideswiped a light pole at about 7mph in the rain) and all work was done at Apple Ford of Shakopee. There was no frame damage and there is a clear title. Carfax is available if anyone wants it e-mailed. It has always had oil changes done by American Ford until they went out of business and currently have the oil changed by Apple Ford. The truck mechanically is in excellent condition, and the exterior is in good shape, but does have some nicks/scratches on the rear bumper. There is a scrape on the way bottom part of the drivers door (not very noticeable until you get close) and there is are two really small chips (look like rock chips) from where my Sirius antenna was installed (on the roof). There are also some small scratches on the front bumper but again not noticeable until you physically bend down and look for them. The interior is near mint condition (some minor drivers side wear on the seats, but normal wear and tear). The only other scratches on the truck are between the gray plastic molding on the bed and the cab, but you cannot tell they are there unless the tonneau cover is completely off. My current asking price is $15,000 (firm) as it sits, otherwise I will sell it for $15,500 with a transferable warranty (powertrain and free roadside assistance) that is good through 03/17/2009 or 85,000 miles. This is a steal, I will be trying to pursue a bass fishing career this summer and will not be able to enjoy the truck, therefore I am trying to sell it asap. I can e-mail pictures, just let me know.
