FYI Dan and everyone who dynoed at RJR. The "correction factor" to compare you car to a dynojet is 1.1 so you multiply your superflow numbers by 1.1 to get your dynojet numbers. Rick Evans whom I work with dynoed at 460hp on the superflow and just last year put down 498hp on a dyno jet. With the correction factor he should have gotten 506hp on the dynojet which is within range of what he had before. That means the contour would have put down 210hp on a dynojet. I think the correction is a bit high though. That means Dan would have put down 390hp on a dynojet.

This topic has been beaten to death on just about every auto enthusiast board on the net (and in real life). For every "conversion" someone comes up with a way to argue against it.

For example, my L dyno'd 381hp/488tq at rjr and 384hp/488tq at hi-tech. I believe John's #'s were arguably close to the same as well. Jeff & Jason I can't remember but may also have similar experiences.

Another thing to factor in (at least for the supercharged/intercooled people) is the intercooler charge temp, as neither dyno can compensate for this.

I'm not sure there's a "real" solid way to convert from dynojet to superflow or mustang. And other than bragging rights, the numbers aren't overly meaningful anyway. They're good for checking A/F and looking for gains from mods added (using the same dyno to get as close of a before/after comparison as possible).
