Green 97 SHO, 3.4L V-8 auto 235hp 125K, rebuilt tranny, nice condition. Almost new tires. Posting for a guy I know. Asking just over 3000 dollars. If I had the cash I would jump on it. but I already have a 93 SHO. Call John at 763-478-9527. For more details. Thanks Shawn

Just an FYI - factory hp is rated @ 245.
Too bad it's the green... I'd be on it if it was any other color.

When I was into the 2nd gen SHOs... I was looking for an MTX '95... but would have settled for an MTX '94... but that's all I ever seen for sale were the '93s, and some auto '94s. I never wanted a '93 (I know the body style is the same)...

What is the diff between 93,94,95 mtx SHO?

It's been a while since I was in that scene... but I think the brakes were upgraded in '94. I don't remember if there was something else that was driving my thoughts on that or not.

Any clue if the cams have been welded? Class action suit against Ford has been filed.
The factory HP rating on the Gen III SHOs is 235HP/230TQ not 245HP.
Differences between the '93-'95's are....
1993
Automatic transmission available; auto has 3.2 liter engine, more mellow suspension, Eagle GA tires (sometimes GT+4); Easily visible chrome exhaust tips replace steel turndown tips. Rear decklid spoiler. Slicer wheels become unidirectional (left side and right side versions).
1994
Larger front brake rotors; retuned suspension; CFC-free air conditioning; liquid-filled motor mounts; body-color door handles; divot in wheels' center cap removed. Blackout window moulding added, from the 92/93's chrome ones.
1995
Some autos have Eagle GT+4 tires. New windshield glass designed to reduce heat build-up in the interior. Minor suspension retuning; unique back shocks for 5-speed. Different cigarette lighters. Automatic transmission may have been upgraded.
My '93 is gone. The fastest factory ATX from any record I could find on the SHO forums (14.98 stock). The engine and tranny will live again (and springs and some other stuff) in another SHO.
Best of luck with the sale.

He says he drives it nicely, so I take it as no.

I'll sell you my 93 5-speed. Then I'll buy the 97.
