....part of my day here in DT Mpls....

Looking out my window here I have a really nice view of the LifeLink helicopter landing pad across the street.

Something cool about watching that guy crank it over and drop it on the roof of the hospital.

Anyone else...?

Just moved my office to a window, pretty nice. But the view is of the back parking lot and the double railroad tracks, not quite as nice as the helipad! I can see the space needle of the fairgrounds, does that count for something??

If you can see the "needle" then you must be in a rather tall building or right near by... and yes, anything that one can see from their window that would help them keep their mind off work, or make them wish they were somewhere is definately worth something. IMHO :)

Its more like a rather short building but very close to the fairgrounds, on Energy Park Drive and Snelling, about a block as the crow flies.

So whats the most exciting part of everyone else's day at work...? other than getting off work of course... :)

Is there really no excitement happening? Are we all in a rut? Just trying to stimulate some chatter here.

Well I have been down at our Phoenix, AZ office this week putting in a new server, so I am enjoying the change of scenery.

It is plenty warm down here - 104 everyday, but its a DRY HEAT!!! At least that is what the locals say. Wet or dry, 104 is damn hot!

On the plus side, there are no mosquitos :)

Come back tonight though.

In my regular office, I overlook a parking deck, but I can keep a close eye on my Lightning parked all by itself in the back. It can be distracting though when it is nice out and all i can think about is going out and taking it for a spin. This time of year I end up making a lot of trips to Comp USA during the day for things we REALLY NEED at the office and can't wait for

Your lucky, its freaking cold here in the Twin Cities. When is summer going to arrive

The most exciting part of my day is when somebody drops a pallet of Chewy Chips Ahoy, Ben & Jerry's Ice cream or Hershey Milk Shakes. We get to munch out

BTW- I work for a Grocery Distributor

Hey yeah! You must be south of Energy Park Drive? My building is set back off the road in the office park complex, we share the parking lot with DOH on the north side of EP Drive. My company is Minnetronix. I sit on the backside of the building but I know the trains you are referring to! Neighbors we be.....

Yup, all the time! Smell the smoke... the whole 9 yards!:) I've been parking my Cobra in the front of the building cuz it would be covered with dust from the trains flying by when I was parking in back. At least I think it helps being in front.....

July is going to have me in England, Germany, Hong Kong, China, Japan and wait for it.............drum roll please...............Arkansas!

My office has a nice view of the Minnesota River and the Black Dog Nature Preserve. Spent most of my career in basments with no windows, so now I feel I've earned it. For all those people who say that they would love to travel, take it from me, it gets OLD fast! :dammit:
