Alrighty, as the flyers previously mentioned, our meeting is at ProKart in Blaine at 5pm on Feb 21st. I have called ahead and spoken to the owner. I let him know we were coming (approximately 10-15 of us) and he said there is a bachelor party that day from 5:30 until 6pm. So the meeting will be just in time for that to finish. If nobody is using the "party room", we are allowed to use it. Otherwise we just have to mill around in the general seating area and have our informal meeting there.
I also inquired if it were possible to get group rates for us. Here is what I found out:
We can purchase race tickets 10 at a time, for $15 apiece. What this means is that you do NOT need to sign up for a year membership (Although it would be a good idea if we wish to do this again). BUT I need to know who's going to be "in" on this before hand. I was thinking that we could all save a few bucks if we all went in on some race tickets before we got there.
What I need to know is if we can people to commit to at LEAST one race before hand at the $15 rate. I'm hoping to see us support this place as well as them giving us a discount on race tickets.
These special Rates include a hairnet to use for racing.
