AV Ford has a silver Contour, 55k miles for $10,000+. Has a RAI and a strut bar. Looks in very good shape. Thought about trading in the Jeep, but don't want a payment, and don't want to spend the cash.

Hey Caffeine King, if you decide to go for it talk to my buddy Jeff Jones, he sold me my hotrod. Very nice guy! And a real car guy with quite a few vehicles to his name. If I remember right he said he drag races his highly modified '91 Mustang. Anyway...just my 2 pennies worth!!

You can find them much cheaper than that. Keep looking.

If you ever do get one, make sure you get a drivetrain warranty... the motors tend to self destruct under continued high-speed cornering.

Yup thats why they are such a good find when the engines go. Drop a 3L in there and you will never have that problem. Its oiling issues are solved with the 3L heads that have more oil passages. Ours runs fantastic and will smoke most 4 doors on the road and a few mustangs.

200hp 200tq in a 3L and 200hp and 165tq in the 2.5 L SVT
Drop on the SVT parts like cams and intakes and you'll get close to 200 front wheel hp like I did at the dyno. :) The engine is all stock SVT parts put on a 3L block and 3L heads.
FYI: my avatar is the cougar not the SVT. Thats not stock.

Yup, I knew that was the Cougar motor.
The SVT cams work with the 3L heads eh? Sweet.
