Hi, my name is brian. I obviously am new here and I had been planning on joining this forum for a little bit but I just never got around to it till now.
I guess I'll give a run down of what the car is
98 svt cobra, laser red with saddle leather interior
91k miles most of which were highway, I bought it from the origional owner who only went through 3 sets of tires in the life of the car and he did his 1st set of brakes at 70k, that gave me at least some assurance that it couldn't have been beat all the time, even though some took place meh I'll be doin some too but at least it was better than I could have expected. I got the car for a steal, 7200 dollars. I flew out to cincinatti and drove it back and it was well worth it. There are a few minor imperfections but for the price I could care less, everything runs fine and seems to function correctly, it has a few paint chips and a couple of scratches but for a 6 year old car I can't complain. It needs tires and I plan to be taking care of that shortly, currently it has firestone firehawks which I think are okay but I'm sure there are better tires out there. It is #931 of 5174 and was assembled on wednesday november 5 1997, I love that svt certificate. The biggest issue the car has is that the leather wrap on the steering wheel is peeling off, its getting pretty bad as of now. I am looking for one and I don't know if any of you would know where I can get one but I don't want to pay the 300 dollars ford asks. If anyone has ideas for where to look that would be nice, thanks and i'm interested to hear what everybody thinks

Welcome Brian! I am also in Rosemount over on 155th W. Where are you at? I heard the FRPP racing wheel can be had for $195 from the FRPP catalog. Another idea may be to post a wanted to buy ad on SVTperformance.com or some of the other mustang web sites.

ya I kinda wanna shoot for cheaper than 200 for the wheel and I figure I don't really like the way black on tan mix or at least for the wheel, the svt one is only black so for now I'm kinda rulin it out. But as to location I live on dartmouth path which is real close to the intersection of diamond path and 140th. I also work at the sams club in apple valley so if anyone is in the area you'll probably see me parked there whenever i'm there which is most of the time.

Saw your car at Sam's club, but keep forgetting to get SVTOATC cards from the Dan's to put them on the windows. Have you seen the verts over at Home Depot? I see them over there all the time so they must work there.
