Hi all, this is your asst dir. Junes meeting was what you would say, excellant .Talking for myself and many others that attended who enjoyed the autocross at american ford on sat. The meeting itself included discussions on events, chapter funding, direction of club, and many other interesting topics. This had to have been one of the best turnouts the svtoatc has ever had, with approx. 27 members in attendence. 15 of those participated in the autocross that followed, after we cleaned out A.F lot of course. Now on Sunday 16 more members gathered at American for the annual mustang show that they put on each year. We had great weather and could not have asked for more. Great weather great people and a great time were had by all that could attend. Now as most of you know I am not the best at this computer thingy, so if I spelt wrong SORRY, I tried my best. But the one thing I do know is that this club is growing faster than I could have ever anticipated. We are planning and doing more events than ever and that is thanks to our new activities dir. John M. Who stepped up to the plate to try and help out. So in closing I would personally like to thank everyone for their attendence at the svtoatc events and meetings, your particiption makes my job that much easier. Lets keep this momentum going and have a great year. Thanks Dan c asst dir.. Remember we can't do it if you don't let us know about it.. be cool....

Ladies and Gents, I agree with Dan 100%. The Club members is what makes this club and is whats going to make it a success. Folks as Dan has said, we are doing all this for you. We want to do events that will please everybody. I will be the 1st to admit, Im not a show kind of guy. However, I really enjoyed sitting and hanging out with your guys. Thanks to Dave Lund for the Krispy Kremes & Thanks to Rick for the refreshments and non alcoholic melon balls :( Well Im tired, I got to 4 hours sleep last night and just got home from work.
BTW- Welcome to our new members, I promise you will enjoy the club and the friends you will make are your best source for questions regarding your vehicles.

I'm one of the new members and I can't tell you what a warm welcome I have received from everyone! I was at the meeting, (a little late due to the horseshoer trimming my horses) and I was the slow one on the autocross! (Thanks for the encouragement and not laughing.) John, you are absolutely right, good friends and an excellent source of info for me, for sure! :bounce:

Actually Pam we have only scratched this ice berg of a car you got there. What I mean is it is obviously BLACK and we need to make and keep that sweet ride looking as great as it drives. I will personally help you with this, when we can. Now that I am thinking of it the club should try to do a detail day, I could us some help myself on this topic. John M was huge for me on sat. night, when he hooked me up with some really great stuff to buff up my ride. It had never looked better. Thanks John for that. See ya Pam

Thanks Dan! I really appreciate the help and tips, for sure. Black was my one and only slight hesitation on this gorgeous car and I'm so glad I bought it! So tips and help are always welcome by me. And I think a detailing day is an awesome idea! Way to use the ol' noggin!!  :bounce:

Hey guys sorry I couldnt make it to the event I really really wanted to go. However, I made a promise to my friends and everyone knows what that means. But I would love to come and join you guys at events sometime. I love the idea of a detailing day. I also drive a black car and live on a dirt road(yeah I know cobra on a dirt road, I dont like it either). I end up washing the thing 4-5 times a week to keep it looking up to the SVT badge that I have on the badge Gotta Represent
Thanks all for the warm welcome and I would love to do more with the group whenever

I have to agree with Dan C.
I had a HELLUVA time on Saturday setting up/running/competing in the autocross. I hope you all had an excellent time.
I would like to publicly thank Tommy for allowing this to happen in his lot. I know it was a stretch to get it to happen and we're all glad it did.
I do want to NOT thank John however because at about 4AM on Sunday morning, we were scrubbing that rubber and still couldn't get it off!!!

The meeting was great and I hope everyone had a great time. Ben never said anything to me about the tire marks. I think the soap and water we spread over it kind of dulled the appearance. But the next course will be shorter and the turns longer and wider.
