I just wanted to take the time to say a few things to a few people after today.
#1. Dan C, Shandiea C, Jeff, Rory, Denise, Dustin, Bruce, Ron, Rick, Chryse, Tim, Pam. Thanks for showing up today and getting sunburned with us! It was a great time meeting all of you new members and I had a great time hanging out with all of you today.
#2. Dave Smith - he probably doesn't read this board but wanted to thank him anyhow. He's one of the Shelby Club members and was the sole reason we got our specialized parking today. We were the ONLY club that RSVP'ed with him and therefore were the only club that got their very own designated spot. They asked all the SVT guys that rolled in if they were with the TC STV club. :) While that didn't do much for us other than recognition, we did bring in a few new members today and have a LOT more people interested in our club. I suspect we can do the same at our next club event at the American Ford show. Just a special thanks for Dave because we got our own section standing above the rest of the crowd. I couldn't have asked for a better spot.
#3. Dustin - congratulations. You have an awesome truck and I'm glad that other people can see that. You deserved that trophy. Thanks for bringing your Special Vehicle to our group today. Hope to see that sweet L at more events!
#4. Rick and Chryse - Thanks for picking up a tent for the next car show. My neck and nose will thank you.
Just a quick couple of notes:
We will be setting up a booth at the American Ford show and we will be bringing more stickers (color matched!!) and items to sell and raffle off. Please, if you would like to donate a item to us to raffle off, please let us know ahead of time so we have an idea of what we are doing. I have raffle tickets and fully intend to set up some really really special prizes. Some of which are "personalized" by someone very special. Please bring a couple of extra bucks to the meeting and also the American Ford show to help support the club.
