Just talked to Mike Klemme from Cedar Falls Raceway. He wanted us to know that we were still very much welcome to attend their track and they would love to accommodate us without the weather. He promised no rain this time. :)
Prospective dates:
June 19th/20th - MDRA coming to track, 19th is bracket racing, 20th is test and tune. (known local conflicts are Back to 50's show)
June 26th/27th - Mustang Central coming to track.
Both nights Test and Tunes. (No known local conflicts)
July 3rd - All night drags
(Conflicts - Holiday weekend)
July 17th
(local Conflict - Car Craft Summer Nationals)
August 13th/14th - Track slated for GM/Buick/Pontiac guys but NOBODY has registered for the track.
****THIS IS THE PREFERRED DATE****
It would be possible to coordinate with a few other clubs to get grudge matches out on the track! (working on this already)
Track opens at 6pm on Friday nights and runs til 10.
Track opens at 12noon on Saturday and runs until over!
Otherwise we can go later than this....
