View Full Version : I'm new
I didnt really see a good spot to post this but anyways, My name is Cory, I live in Mankato and work at St. Peter Ford. I used to work at Mankato Ford. I have an 80 Cobra ( I know its not an SVT ) my room mate has an Orange SVT focus and i know someone in here has talked to him before about it. Anyways thought I would stop in and see what this is all about. By the way I see a 05 white 4 door F 150 and work all the time with an SVTOA sticker in the window anyone on here?

Welcom Cory
I'd like to come up sunday but I am not sure whether i have to work at job #2 (gander mountain) or not yet, also the Stang isnt long trip worthy right now I dont think few little problems and no interior, radio, drag coils and 4.10's makes for a long highway drive, but I might try especially if there is anyone from this area headed up

The owner of that sticker would be Rick. He also goes by the name WYSIWYG on here.

Cory, Welcome to the site. I'm the one with the White SuperCrew with the SVTOA stickers. I talked to yuor roommate a couple of months ago.
I owned St Peter Ford and closed on the sell to Mike & Gary on May 25th.
My vehicle is a 1993 SVT Cobra Vibrant Red, my son owns a 2005 GT Silver we/Red Leather interior.
I hope both of you will be at the AVF show.

Hey guys (and gals),
I got this card on my windshield for your website. However, I don't have a SVT, but just an 02 GT with a couple of minor mods (so far!!). I just purchased the car a couple of weeks ago, and I am already looking at mods. I'm not sure if my lowly GT qualifies, but if it does, I am really interested in coming to some meetings, and getting ideas from experts in Ford Mustang motors to help me feed my need to burn off 10k miles off my tires warming up for a 1/4 mile.
Thanks!
Justin

Well, I am new to this, so feel free to chuckle at my lack of exact knowledge on the engine. The previous owner was supposed to put a chip in the car, and he did something to the exhaust, as it is really REALLY loud. I am ordering the typical stuff first, air intake, 3:73 (maybe), replacing the plenum, and figuring out exactly what has been done to the exhaust of the vehicle. I am no mechanic, and that is hindering my progress somewhat..

Air intake is good, jlttruecoldair.com & loud exhaust is good (as long as loud sounds good to you) haha

Hey welcome! Your GT is most certainly welcome to the club! There's a lot of guys all willing to help you with your hotrod, I'm proof of that! And loud exhaust is definitely good! :)

MODS rock. Pretty much everything in my old engine is modded except for the crank, rods, pistons and valves. Otherwise it is all new. Now if I would just get it all back together that would be good. Ohh yeah got my new meaty tires last night and I will post pics tonight. Welcome to the club and feel free to ask lots of questions as between everyones experience we can usually get the correct answer for you.

Welcome! All "Ford powered" vehicles are welcome to join the club, it doesn't have to be an SVT. We will be meeting on the June 18th at 3:00 p.m. and would love to meet you. The club is full of people who love cars and not everyone has the same level of knowledge. The people who are full of it are always willing to share! :hahaha:
