May meeting minutes are as follows. 24 people were in attendance at American Ford today, a very good showing for this meeting. Refreshments were provided by the club which I'm sure everyone enjoyed.
The meeting basically consisted of a list of events, past and future, including car shows, drag racing, track racing, cruises and informal events, such as the most recent cruise/ barbecue we had on the May 8th weekend to the Christopherson's, and the Mid America event that some of our members went to in early May.
There was also a lengthy discussion on the CLT or ( Chapter Leadership Training) that the Directors took part in, during the early part of April. Where we informed the membership of future ideas for SVT products and SVTOA as a club at large, it was very informative and extremely exciting news to share with our members.
The events that were discussed are all posted in the event section of the web site, please check them out and let us know what you think? We had an informative and enlighting Q&A session where members were able to discuss club happenings. Your suggestions and comments are very important to the directorship, we are very willing to listen to all your ideas to help us help you.
Remember we are all in this together, and the Directors welcome any help you can give to make this club a success.
At this time I would like to welcome John Marroquin to the directorship as our new Activities Dir. If you have any suggestions for John don't hesitate to let him or anyone else know. Thank you John for your participation in the club and your new role, we do appreciate it.
We brought in 2 new members, thank you for joining, believe me, you will enjoy this club. Stickers and T-shirts were sold and a raffle was held to help raise money for the club. Custom SVTOATC stickers are now available in various colors, contact Michelle Aerts a.k.a Dirty Ranger, for custom design and color matching. Bring your vehicle to the next meeting to help match colors if you so desire.
In closing the directorship would like to say thank you for your continued support of this club without the membership's support we would have no job to do, we all truly appreciate your attendance and involvment in the club and it's events. So keep a close eye on the board for upcoming events that is our best method of communication with all of you. Be safe and see you all soon.
