2005 Great Lakes Regional On-Track Schedule

I have just finalized the Great Lakes Region track schedule for 2005 and would like to share it with you guys.

May 21-22 - SVTOA On-Track at the Autobahn Country Club. Joliet, IL - Official National On-Track Event. This event will contain a car show in addition to the open track event. We are also going to hold the National Cobra R meet at this event and expect us to break the record of 17 Cobra R's that we had at this years Gingerman Event. Don't make me a lier!!!


Just got back from this event. It was a blast! Dell Hughes (Central Region Director) interviewed me for an article in the Enthusiast. And there was a butt-load of Cobra R's. There were at least 3 from Texas alone. I'll post some highlights in the "Track Tales" section later on.

Only about 50 bizillion. I'm about to download them all onto my computer, and I'll come back with the details. The pics are all 4 megapixel, so I might burn 'em to a CD and send it to you.

Hey Harvey. It was great meeting you this weekend, hope you had fun. Sorry I didn't have much free time to visit more. :(

Glad to see you had a good time, now I need to get you to Gingerman in sept, that track is even better. ;)

I'm so jealous.....but looking forward to Gingerman in the Fall! How was the weather for you guys? I was thinking about you!

Weather was perfect, rained on the drive down thursday, otherwise dry. :)

September, definitely. Thinking about July. Just wish there were more cool roadcourses closer to the Twin Cities.

PS, all three of your links (pics I assume) come up dead for me.

There was one hour Sunday when it looked dark and stormy, during which time I heard 1 guy say he felt a raindrop. Other than that, it was dry the whole weekend.
