Possible event with SVTOA-WI Chapter

Looking to set up a road trip and drag strip challenge with the local WI chapter of SVTOA. I spoke with one of their directors, Chris Lorentzen, and he and I thought that perhaps September would be a good time for our grudge match. That was when the GLD was done with racing for the year and weather permitting, would give us nice atmospheric conditions. :)

I'm throwing out two possible dates here.

The weekend of September 11th

or

The weekend of September 25th.

Does anyone have any input? We would be cruising down to Great Lakes Dragway and challenging the cheeseheads in their own backyard. Possibly making a weekend out of it, but mostly a Saturday for racing. We could caravan out of town on Friday night. Head back Sunday or whatever.
