Apple Valley Car show - June 6th

This is the Apple Valley Ford show on June 6th, 2004. Starting at 9AM and running until 3pm.

I am contacting the organizers of this show to see if we (SVTOATC) can get a seperate section set aside for us to congregate and gather with a banner and our cars so we can promote the club.

I am IN for this show, possibly with 2 vehicles if I can convince Dirty to drive one of my 'stangs. :shiftin:.

Who else is planning on making this show? It's a good one folks, I promise.

I spoke with one of the the show managers for this event. He said we could do one of two things as a club:

1. Park with our group and be judged within our classes if wanted (SVT Cobra class '93-'04 and "trucks", modified or stock).
The disadvantage is that we are not in area of other judged cars.

2. Park seperately in our judging classes and not park as a club.

My opinion is to go with #1, but I want to get the members' opinion. I am planning on setting up some station where we can help answer questions and get people to recognize SVTOA by the vehicles. Hopefully we can get a banner made and stuff too.

We need to call this gentleman on the day of the show to let him know how many spots to reserve. Please sound off so I can get a rough estimate of how many cars attending?

I'm in with ONE car. Dirty is out of the country.

i will be attending the show no matter what. its the coolest ford show because of all the shelbys and there is always this red 66 gt40. i can't park with you guys because i traded in the lightning yesterday for a competition orange mach1, but i will certainly stop by and visit.
