Hey guys, ready to drag race?! :shiftin: :shiftin:

We have worked out an event with Cedar Falls Raceway for the weekend of May 29th, 2004. This is an SVT vs. Corvette event!

We have a bracket racing day set up for Saturday. The price is only $20 per driver! This is NOT a complete run of the track but the track is very accomodating to us, giving us our own lanes to get set up in, our own area in the pits roped off for just our cars!

The event will be structured as a bracket race with custom made trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!

If you have never bracket raced before see the information on THIS (http://www.staginglight.com/guide/ET.html) site for great info!

Cedar Falls is an EXCELLENT track. Much better than the closer ones. The website for the track can be located HERE (http://www.cedarfallsraceway.com/)!

The track opens for racing at 10 AM. It's about a 3 hour drive to the Cedar Falls area from the southern suburbs.

We will leave Saturday morning at 6:30AM from the south. Perhaps someone on the south end of town can give us a good meeting point? I know, leaving at 6:30AM sucks but this gives us time to stop for breakfast and potty breaks if needed.

You need to bring:

A Helmet
At LEAST $20 (spectactor might cost $$)
Long pants
Spare pullies and/or other parts to bolt on to get you faster than the 'vettes
Tools
Extra $ for food

Any questions, please contact myself or MinnesotaWhite.

No White that wasn't me. I have NEVER seen Corvette tail lights while going down the quarter mile

Although I am pretty sure you have seen a Red Lightning's tail lights ;) and those were Dave's - he's the slowest of the L's, so get used to the view

If your not packing more than those new drag radials, you'll be seeing sonic blue tail lights - BRING IT ON

I'm planning on attending this event. Need to know time the group is leaving the TC Area. Try to hook up with you in Owatonna.

Only staying for the day and drive back that evening - after supper with the group.

My ride to the day down is a 2004 F250 CrewCab with enclosed trailer for my Cobra.

Want to see what a stock 1993 Cobra can do on the track.

My cellphone numer is 507-382-0486.

Work number is 800-642-6305.

Don't worry, you'll get a good look at mine. In fact you, Jason, and John can fight over who has the best view of them:shiftin:

Doug & White,
Heck, we can even give them the choice whether they see the tailights of a red , white, or yellow car.

Haha I see the guys with the Vette have the Little Pecker symdrom(sp). Any of you phuckers wanna put up $20 ? 1st to cross the line wins, that means no excuses like I missed a gear, traction sucked etc etc...... Its simple, 1 race and 1st to cross the line wins. Of course I will throw another $20 that I kick your a$$es at bracket racing with dial ins. Enuff Talk, Put up or Shut up :shiftin: :shiftin: :shiftin:

I would guess this will be decided on here next week as the day gets closer.

I can tell you if the chance of rain is higher than about 40% I doubt I'll go...

Haha I see the guys with the Vette have the Little Pecker symdrom(sp).

That would be real embarassing if my 8 year old stock LT1 beat ya...we'll have to see if it makes it out of the shop...those lights do funny things to people. Red light is still a red light though...

I'll take that bet...little pecker and all...

Hey Wade, Sorry to drag you into this but I dont discriminate. So you and I are on for $20 or $40 ? Heads up, Dial In or both ? Yes a redlight is a automatic loss.

Guys if it rains perhaps the group of us could take over Pro Karts in Burnsville.

$20, let's see who is looking at who's tail lights...at the finish line...but red light blows the run for the unfortunate sole :)
