Just want to say hi to everyone. 1st post here on this site...been watching for awhile. I usually hang out over at SVTPerformance. I am really looking forward to meeting people with similar interests....SVT. :salute:

So, can I still come, or do I have to be a member first? I just took the cobra out yesterday, and have been excited to join the club. This cruise sounds like a blast!!

Are you guys meeting there to have the meeting and eat or what? Only reason I ask, is I have some family stuff later that night, but I told the wife that I really have to be able to make this.

Let me know what the deal is, and I look forward to meeting all of you. :)

P.S. I'm from White Bear...if anyone is near, give me shout and we could hook up!

Mack, my name is Dan Christopherson and I am the Asst Dir. of the club and would love to see you come out to meet with the gang at Porkies. We have a unwritten rule that we give the newbies 2 meetings/events to figure out what they would like to do and after that they must make a choice. Just so you know it is $20 for local dues and $40 for national dues unless you are already a national member, then all we would need is your national #. I am sure that you will find that the people that belong to this club truely are some lovely individuals and I am sure you will fit right in.

You have to be a National member before you can join a local chapter. I just signed up with the National Chapter on the net and will have the info soon to be able to pay to join the local chapter also.

Looks like there is going to be a few of us meeting just north in forest lake if you are interested. Kinda like a pre-pre party :) The spot is up in one of the earlier replies to this thread. I'm gonna head there, and then roll down to the meeting spot with a few others that are comin from the way way north.
You should check it out and see if it works for ya...otherwise, I will definitely see ya at the "actual" meeting spot.

As for Mods and Rods, I don't care WHAT you register with, as that show was specifically made for ALL types of vehicles. And incidentally, there is a class for trucks this year.

Hell ya I owned a butt load of GM'S before I turned to the Force.

Truthfully guys if I did not work for Ford, I would probally still be driving Chebby's.
But here's the deal I had 3 BRAND SPANKIN NEW GM'S and everyone needed a new tranny some more than once. My Fords have been absolutely trouble free, and I have had many different ones to compare to.

The joke was My cooling system blew up the day before Mods & Rods last year and I still wanted to go and still represent TCS since I was not a member of SVTOATC yet. So I brought my big blue truck and entered it as a member of TCS. That was one of the big jokes last year especially cause it was dirty cause I did not clean it.

I'm only gonna say one more thing and then I am done on this whole business. I love all cars. As long as it goes fast or does what I need it to do and it is a decent price that is all I care about.
