Join the club my lightning is dirty from last year. still havent pulled it out to clean it yet. I always got a glimps of what i thought was a svt contour but my wife always wanted to get our puppy home after being at the vet. So in my way home your car was parked as close to 169 so i stopped. Ihope you dont mind. I was shocked to see all the gauges? any details on mods?

welcome jessica, nice to see another contour around. can't say I have a puppy but I REALLY wish I could. my car is kinda dirty too. I took it out for the first time since january. my brother decided to scrape the bottom of the freshly painted bumper. Needless to say I started crying & yelling. I was sooo pissed. And he drove through mud so it's gross too. But I have to put it away now. Rory said! -Denise

Well the gagues are for the oil temp, water temp, and a clock. I don't really have any mods. I have a K&N air filter and the gagues. I do have different rims other than the stock SVT ones. I have the SVT rims on my snow tires for the winter. I can't afford much more or a winter car, or believe me I would. My husband is the one who went and had the gagues put in. I also have a spoiler that has been waiting to be installed for almost a year. It will get done this summer. I got the car on Jan 1st 1999 with about 5 miles on it. I guess you could call me a small animal tech also. Chris I looked you up in the computer at work. I was a little freaked out when I saw the card because last summer I had another guy put a note on my car with his e-mail address and he also drove a sliver SVT and supposedly had the same rims. I hope that wasn't you too????? If it was-sorry!
Denise- I would be soooo pissed. A gal I work with lives in Big Lake too. I need to do something about my front bumper, my husband left it in 1st gear once and I didn't realize it and I started it and ran over the lawnmower. Well I mostly got stuck on it and cracked my underside!!!! I was screaming and crying that day too.

what did the computer tell you? hopefully all good things :) nahh it wasnt me... I drive a 94 f150 lightning, 79 ford fairmont wagon, and 63 ford falcon.
I just realivied i need and 80's car to have one from each decade thats kind of scary.... Nahh just thought with all the gauges and mods that you might enjoy a club that does cruises , fun events for the whole family, and some driving events (drag racing, autocross).

sorry about the tradgedy but it did give me a little chuckle. The part where "I ran OVER the lawnmower" really got me. Who's the lady from big lake? I used to know everyone in town, I'm a real people person but it's getting too big here. I don't really like it but aw well.
My boyfriend drives an 01 lightning and once I was suppose to back it out of the garage and for some odd reason his dad likes to put the garbage can over a little too far, I swear to god, I am not lying, he does it on purpose and I backed out and scapped the side of the fender. We waxed it & I think it's gone. & once he backed out & turned the wheel too far & hit the garage. I thought he was going to die but he seemed ok about it.
By the way if you have any dog that needs to be saved or rescued you let me know. I REEEEEEAAAAALLLLLY want one. like a golden retriever, black lab, yellow lab, and a beagle are my favorite though. my sister has a half pekineese (I can't spell that) and 1/2 pomeranian and she's really dumb but she's a cutie. She's not even a year old yet. anyway gotta go.... Denise

It doesn't really hook very well. And the problem is only going to get worse as I've started to port the blower and I'm installing a cam. I should have the hooking problem solved once I fab up some traction bars.

Neapoleon LePage, of course I should have known it was you. You've got SVT rims on that thing. It looks sweet and I've noticed you take good care of it, it's always washed & parked for the winter. I've seen it a buncha times, I wondered when you were going to do something sweet to it or buy a lightning.

By the way I'm not a stalker I was in cheerleading with Josephine. My sister is Kim (Spoden now) Anderson, & yup you know her. I haven't seen Rick drive his cobras in a long time. I've thought about getting him in this club, he doesn't really give me the time of day. I was friends with Rachel too. I told Rick my b/f had a lightning but he didn't really bother so neither did I.

Well you should definitly come to a meeting or join or something. that would be sweet to have a big laker here. Its a decent truck, it needs paint soon but the engine and the tranny come first. I'll probably buy a lightning or a cobra when I get out of school. But I'll always have the ranger. I have 98 cobra rims on my truck, the same rims that are on Rickards 98 cobra.

I think I saw Kim in the liquor store with her boyfriend/husband one day, but she was leaving and I was entering so I didn't talk to her. Shes married now? Tell her I said congrats!

I found this forum through a link in tcstangs.com and happen to see someone who admitted to living in big lake. Rick said he knew you I figured I'd say HI. Thats cool a chick who knows stuff about cars. There needs to be more girls like you. Ricks a busy guy just like me, he lives in Inver Grove Heights now. He stil stores his cars at his parents place.

What club are you in? Is it just SVT? I figure I might be able to join, my trucks pretty fast, even if its not a SVT product.
