hehe or maybe you should just kill him, without telling him.

a little gratuitous blood-shed never hurt anyone, just dont let any splatter on to any of our cars. blood stains are hard to remove.

I sure hope they offer it, looks like it would be a fun car for the track, basically track ready. Too bad the street cruisers wouldn't be able to enjoy a car like this.  :shiftin:

I really doubt this car will see the real world. I would love to see Ford offer it, but look at it realistically. How many people would really buy a car that isn't street legal? This car would basically be something that would interest racers, although I am sure they would sell some, I bet it wouldn't be enough to make it profitable with anywhere near an afordable price.

brian are you sure that it is not street legal? because im not and i believe the price tag varies on what options you would want on it. basically it starts as a base chassis and baody and you can build on from there. starting price is $40 all the way up to $100 if my sources are correct.

Am I sure?........ absolutely not!! I just have a tough time thinking that a car with a factory installed roll cage, no airbags, ect is going to be street legal. If you want a more civilized Mustang, they will be offering a Cobra ect.

No way Ford (or any other major manufacturer) could afford to sell a car like that, not that customizable.

And there's an awful lot of parts that have to go into a new vehicle to make it "street legal".

I was always under the impression that for something to be "street legal" all it had to have was break lights, turn signals, seatbelts, and a horn. I'm I wrong?

Jason

Little more complicated, it has to meet many requirments that big brother enforces. Things such as Airbags, 5MPH Bumper Tests, Clean emissions, catalatic convertors, etc.......... As for purchasing a purpose build race car, buy a body in white $1000-$1500 and build the car exactly to your needs. It can be as cheap as $25,000 or as expensive a $150,000 it all depends on how deep your wallet is.
