How about a breakfast in the metro, backroads to lunch in somewhere like southern Wisconsin, and then open to dinner or not back towards metro? I know it was fun on motorcycles, and in the Lightning. Do you have any interest in visiting somewhere like a custom bike builder?

Should be no problemo. I know two area builders, and used to work for one of them. They generally have open doors to potential customers and public, but I'll send you some info.

3 ideas that are fairly local and exciting would be, Wisconsin Dells, The U.P of Michigan or the Black hills say around Sturgis time. Or if you really wanna do something stupid but wild and fun lets go to Denver and Cruise at 11,000 feet in the rockies. Takes about a day to get there but I remember how awesome the mountains were...

Cruie to Red Wing or Wabasha and then take the River Cruise for lunch.

Two cruises - one on land & one on water.

No cars in Sturgis during the bike Ralley! Worse than riding a Honda Gold Wing over there!

The land and sea idea of WYSIWYG's is a good one.

Believe me I wasn't thinkin about drivin right down broadway. What I meant was cruisin out that way when everyone else is going out there. You can really see some wild stuff just cruisin that way, thought it would be a hoot.

I wouldn't mind going to the Black Hills but really have no desire to go anywhere near Sturgis. Honestly.

The 'Double Cruise' sounds pretty cool. Good idea, Wys.
Are you guys serious about these trips? I was thinking about a sorta local deal so it would be easy to plan and execute very casually.

Howie, I don't want to take this to far off topic but I believe I must for a second.

THERE IS NOT ON THING THAT WE DON'T WANT TO DO EVER!!!!

I believe I am speaking for the 8 directors when I say this club needs to get serious about doing things as a club as well as for the community and it's members.

Lastly I for 1 love your enthusiasm for the club and the upcoming events, you can plan and hold anything you want to do.
Meaning if you want to do an event and we don't know about it yet, let us know so we can get something together. Or just post it up and see what happens, you'll be suprised.

I love this club and really after 2 years don't know what I would do in the summer without it. This club has to grow in the right direction or it WILL FAIL. I WILL NOT LET THIS CLUB FAIL and nor should YOU or ANYONE that cares about the people, cars and the experience of being in one of the most elite car clubs in North America. DON'T EVER FORGET THAT

To many people take things for granted until they are gone, lets not let that happen here. Be a member and care because IT WILL SHOW.

Sorry for the rant but I believe it had to be said.

How about a River Run and end up back at the Ranger plant for a tour? I would love to walk the assembly line.

Would love to take you guys and gals through the plant but ever since 9/11 we can no longer do that. Dustin might know better.

Dan C, I was just making suggestions. I know people have varied interests, so having choices or options can be helpful. New members can bring new opportunities, and I am offering to help if I can. Chris and Dan have obviously done a great job. I am looking forward to the plans they have made, although I'm bummed I won't be able to attend some of the events.

No, You be cool, Dan. You should see me at the xmas festivities unless you get poked in the eye or something. ;)
I'm new to this scene, so I'll throw some stuff out for ideas. Have you done a brewery tour? A Saints game? A night out with a band? Swap meet? An SVTOATC picnic? A scavenger hunt? Clean my yard? Oops, that slipped out.
We'll all talk this weekend and get an idea of what ideas are ideal.

Never done anything just like that but we have done some similar style things. I really like a couple of your thoughts the scavenger hunt always sounds cool and a picnic is an excellant way to show off my touch football skills. So I like always am as cool as an eskimo in mid january on top of a ice berg with my pants off.. Hope to see you on saturday, so we can chat. see ya Dan

I'm a thinkin' machine. That's all there is to it.
In fact, if I wasn't so deep in thought right now- I'd tell you about something I was thinking about.;)

Actually, I have something to ask you about this weekend, Dan. And you, Chris.
